HOPS Japan Taiwan Leadership Programme
Japan Taiwan Mid-Career Executive Fellowship
In 2022, HOPS established a fellowship to train mid-career executives from Taiwan. We would like to encourage mid-career executives to go beyond their field of expertise to gain in-depth understanding of policy-making, decision-making process and multidisciplinary approach to leadership, and become a key figure in Japan-Taiwan relations.
HOPS Naruwan Programme
In 2013, in cooperation with the Institute of Diplomacy and International Affairs (Foreign Services Training Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, ROC), HOPS launched the Naruwan Study Tour for graduate students, a study tour programme to Taiwan.
Graduate School of Public Policy (HOPS)
The Graduate School of Public Policy (HOPS) at Hokkaido University is a professional graduate school that aims to foster and train versatile and talented leaders that will meet the challenges we face today. The four pillars of HOPS include: 1) Integration of Arts and Sciences; 2) Putting Theory into Practice; 3) Global + Local = ‘Glocal’ Perspective; 4) Forefront of Public Policy in Hokkaido.
